This SUNDAY 22 August Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, DN (=The Danish society for Nature Conservation) are organizing an event to protect the sea for future generations.
At 75+ beaches all over Denmark, we jump into the water to make aware that we need to protect the sea for future generations and get a more sustainable environment for the sea, plants and animals – and humans.
Almost all of the 75 events take place at the same time: 10 a.m. on Sunday – and you are more than welcome 🙂
At my (Anette Pilmark) beach at Brøndby Strand we are honoured to have the president of the DN as opening speaker and also we expect a visit by our Minister of Environment. For the first 50 children, there are free fishing nets.
